Today is one of those days that I really just want to stay in bed, of course, that is not happening as I've got lots to do. Not being able to be lazy in bed all day doesn't mean that I can't stay cozy in my onesie, right? I absolutely love my onesie at the moment especially when it's quite cold out these days - wearing it around the house makes me reminisce the holidays. Remember last post I was talking about my boredom and beginning to watch the Korean drama Heirs? Well, this is me at about episode 10, I'm literally about to fangirl. Like I said, I've never really been a fan of Korean dramas, thus, I have no clue who is who when my friends are fangirling over Lee Min Ho. Clearly, I have been missing out ! Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good site that had the full series in English sub, so I had to budge with the Chinese sub one... I can't read too much in Chinese so I guess it's not as good, but I do get the general gist. Since I'm basically in the stage of obsessing over Heirs & Lee Min Ho, falling back with school work is the downside. Admittedly, I would say this is definitely the wrong time to start drama marathoning, it's really the time to focus & start writing papers... well, I've got time right? Hopefully. Well, I'm off to um, drama again, goodnight !

I'm Not A Hipster.
January 18th,
I'm sorry again for not posting too frequently lately - as I mentioned last post, school is really getting to me, although I've been quite lazy recently, school is always #1 priority ! During my free time lately I just dug up the film I mentioned last time (pic below) and just got really excited to get a film camera!
To look back at it, it's quite ridonculous of me to buy film when I don't even own a camera - smooth move es, smooth move. The pack is actually a trio pack (I guess you can consider it as a sampler film pack), it contains three of Lomography's popular films. Personally, I've heard that the chrome pack supposedly has quite the nice effect - again, I'm excited to use it!
Aside from my ranting about film etc., lately I've finally made what I would consider to be successful cake ! It not only tastes AMAZING, but it's also great for those who adore the Asian fruit cakes from the bakeries ! I recently just stumbled upon this recipe via YouTube surfing - and might I say, this is a recipe that's definitely worth trying! Personally I have recipes for chiffon cakes, angel food cakes, foam cakes etc., but this, this is one of a kind ! I would consider this to be superb because the over I have at home is a fan forced oven (full on heat circulation) - most baked goods lose most of its moisture if it's baked for the stated time & temperature. This recipe not only worked at my first attempt and tasted amazing with it's locked in moisture, it is guaranteed that it won't last on your counter for long ! As this is what happened to me (cake finished the next day) - I didn't have time to take a picture ! Next time, I promise! Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe for the bakers out there ! Back to School Blues.

Sorry I haven't been posting too often lately, as you all know, its the time of the year again - back to school. Usually I'm super ecstatic about this - not that I'm not right now - but, I feel that I haven't had enough of break time. I guess being home alone sometimes will be boring, and of course, at times, rarely, I will miss being at school. All I can say is that I am currently in that state of feeling the "back to school blues", I miss is, but I don't miss it. This term, because I totally slacked off last term, as well as all the stuff going on around the house, I planned to not fall behind in school work - readings, assignments etc. Well, it's the third day of school already, I've got a couple of readings that I was supposed to do and, well, here I am ! feeling tired, lazy, and NOT reading. Great ! perfect way to kick off the new semester.
Aside from my natural procrastinating personality, I've been wanting to look for a new lomo (lomography) film camera lately. Any suggestions? Over the break I was so in love with one of my closer friend's film camera that he dug up in his basement ! I completely adore the effect of film & really want one for myself. On the side note, here's a bit about me - I personally am interested in photography, I used to do quite a bit of photography for sport events in high school, and edit them for the yearbooks. During one of my trips to Hong Kong, I got myself a polaroid camera ! It's one of those things that are so common today, but when I got it, it was quite rare, I just generally loved the film part of it. Not long after I got that camera, I planned to get a lomo camera for myself, but prior to finding one that I liked, I bought myself some film first (funny eh?) - so, right now I have a couple rolls of film without a camera ! I was actually really excited to use the film, it's supposed to be chromed film (cool eh?). Anyways, I'm recently looking into either a fisheye film camera (by Lomography) or one of the Diana brand camera. Hopefully I'll get it soon and can get the film developed to show you guys !

Movie Marathons.
December 15th,
Well, well, well, guess who's ready for the holidays ! yup - that's me ! And to begin with the holiday spirit, I just dashed hope ecstatically after my last final, had dinner, and plunged myself in front of the TV. That's right, just finished watching two movies today (Stuck in Love & Monsters U). They both were equally good movies - to be honest, I watch Stuck in Love just for Lily Collins, I'm completely in love with her after the The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones movie (which was AMAZING !) Although I've never been a fan for much things including movies, actors, songs, artists etc. I truly believe that I'm a fangirl now after watching TMI - can't wait for the next one to start filming. Seems that my holidays are starting off the right way...today is a day (more like a quarter of a day - fine. a few hours) anyways, a day of movie catching and just pure relaxation post-finals. Tomorrow, well I've got big plans - it's a complete shopping day to make up for the semester of no shopping. It was literally brutal especially when group projects took up my entire weekend. Regardless, it's just about 1am, and I shall continue catching up with the dramas I've missed for a while & in the meantime, to all those who are still studying - bonne chance !
